Floyd is a little unicorn child who came to the city in search of his parents. Mythical creatures co-inhabit the city in this world. But, since the cities are originally a creation of the humans and humans are in majority of the population, rules have been set that mythical creatures must abide if they want to live in the city. Every Mythical creature must report their whereabouts and how they make a living to the administrative members of the city and earn a permit to live there. According to the administration, humans are at a disadvantage because many mythical creatures can use magic, thus the mythical population must be governed strictly.
Usually not many mythical creatures like to live near the city, but recently a lot of mythos, as they are called, have started to cross the city borders without an explanation. A lot of them "illegally", without making any notifications to the human regime. Like Floyd, many mythical children have found out that their parents have disappeared, and Floyd suspects that this has something to do with the city.
